Negombo
A beautiful sea-side town, just a short drive from Colombo, offering you an incredible coastline dotted with palm trees. Not as busy or crowded as the City, the fine-looking town of Negombo sits on the shore of a lagoon and was once a vital trading port for both the Dutch and Portuguese. It is the best place to enjoy some Sun, Sand, Seafood and a vibrant nightlife.

Bentota
A popular weekend getaway, Bentota is about 62km’s south of Colombo and is dotted with palm trees and has a peaceful atmosphere. The city takes its name from a legendary demon named “Ben”, who ruled the river banks or “tota”. Home to some amazing hotels, Bentotais celebrated as one of the best places to relax, unwind and have some fun under the Sun.

Hikkaduwa
Imagine a place where you can chill by the sea, enjoy an amazing snorkeling experience and do some surfing as well. It sounds almost too good to be true. Located about 100km south of Colombo, the small seaside town of Hikkaduwa is the dream destination for anyone who loves to have a good time, next to the sea. The beach stretch is truly breathtaking, with great hotels and restaurants to entertain you. Hikkaduwa is famous for having a beautiful coral sanctuary, which is why it is one of the best destinations for snorkeling.

Trincomalee
This city is world renowned for having one of the supreme natural deep-water harbours in the world. It is located approximately 257km from Colombo. The natural harbour is not the only attraction,Trincomalee is home to some of the most beautiful beaches in world, such as Nilaveli, Uppuveli and the very popular, Pigeon Island. Recently the city started to get noticed as a popular Whale Watching destination as well. If diving, snorkeling and swimming are some of your favourite pastimes, Trinco is the place for you.

Chilaw
Chilaw is a simple seaside town where people of different backgrounds, religions live together in peace and harmony. The beach is more often than not calm and tranquil, but tends to get a little rough from time to time. So, it might not be the ultimate swimming destination, but it can be your ultimate seafood destination, as the town has a large fishing community that is dedicated to crab and prawn farming. If you want to chill and relax, then you have to checkout Chilaw.

Balapitiya
A scenic expanse of beach that seems untouched from the mass tourism is ideal for sea side relaxation which is only about 80km away from Colombo. Balapitiya is located near Maduriver where, you can enjoy a boat ride along the river and be one with nature or, even experience a fishing trip if so desired.

Unawatuna
This beach resort is popular with locals and tourists due to the surrounding vegetation and other facilities which the nearby beach destinations fail to cater. Renowned as one of the best beaches in the world, Unawatuna beach will sparkle your stay here in Sri Lanka that will be cherished in your memories.

Galle
Undoubtedly the most important city in the Southern coast of Sri Lanka. Galle is home to a UNESCO World Heritage Site with the Dutch fort being the main attraction point where an entire a city can be witnessed.

Mirissa
A beach that is famed for whale watching and to just lay back and get your tan on under the big blue sky as waves crash next to you. With decent restaurants and other beach related activity providers in the surrounding area, Mirissa is one of the ideal beaches to experience some fun and to rejuvenate yourself while your stay here in Sri Lanka.

Arugam Bay
Arugam Bay is popular for its outstanding surf, that’s well received and respected by professional surfers from all over the world. It is the best surf spot in the island. Nilaveli
A beautiful 15 km stretch of beach, coupled with clear blue water and white sandy beach.
