Kelaniya Rajamaha Viaharaya
The Kelaniya Temple is one of the well-known Buddhist temples in all of Colombo and in Sri Lanka. Built on the banks of the Kelani River, the temple is said to be particularly sacred, as Buddha visited the site on his third visit to Sri Lanka.
The Gangarama temple isn’t just a temple. Its history spans around 150 years and most of its space in the temple is cluttered with museum artifacts. Visitors who have never visited any site like this before will surely enjoy and will be amazed.
The Bandaranaike Memorial International Conference hall is the first Convention Centre built in Asia during 1970s which makes it look outstanding.It is equipped with halls, convention rooms to hold exhibitions, fairs, business conferences and other events.
The independence commemoration hall is a monument which has been designed to signify a Kandyan audience hall from the ancient times. Most of the time it is used as a place to hold national, cultural and annual national day celebrations and activities which marks unity among the people.

A day at the Galle face greenwill rejuvenate you in a different way amidst the local families dawdling around. The street vendors sell delicious food and the sea breeze accompanied by the sound of ocean waves is truly special here in the evening.
